Skippering is a platform for giving and receiving feedback. We hope to help create a world where individuals have just as much power to shape an organization as their managers.

That can only happen with a focus on inclusion, diversity, and equity. As an organization and a platform, we're committed to ensuring safety and opportunity for all Skippering users.

We're just getting started right now, so these terms will evolve as we grow and encounter new challenges. We'll notify any customers of Skippering when we have updates to these policies.

I. Content Moderation

  1. Feedback, by its nature, tends to raise tough conversations. We encourage difficult conversations to occur on the Skippering platform, and expect users of the platform to act in good faith.

  2. However, Skippering does not allow discrimination, harassment, or hate-speech. Any inappropriate content can & should be flagged for removal.

  3. Content that is flagged as inappropriate will go through a moderation process, which may result in removal of the content, banning of the user, or other appropriate measures to address current inappropriate content and prevent future inappropriate content.

II. Commercialization

  1. You may not sell Skippering or access to the platform, nor any content created by the Skippering team.

  2. As the platform allows, you may have the opportunity to monetize materials created within Skippering. You will have complete control over the monetization of the materials you create.

  3. You are not obligated to use the monetization platforms provided by Skippering, unless you are hosting the monetized materials directly on Skippering. You are welcome to take materials you wish to monetize to another platform.

III. Privacy and Security

  1. Skippering takes privacy seriously. Any actor found to be violating or attempting to violate data privacy will be immediately banned from the platform.

  2. Any employee of Skippering found to be accessing senstive information outside of the scope of their responsibilities will be subject to immediate dismissal. This actor may be held liable if harm came of that inappropriate access.

  3. If Skippering has a data breach, all affected customers will be notified within 24 hours.

IV. Account and Cancellation Policies

  1. You may cancel your Skippering subscription at any time. When your subscription is cancelled, you will no longer be automatically charged. You will retain access to Skippering until the date at which your subscription would have renewed.

  2. You may request a copy of your information within Skippering at any time, even if you do not currently have an active subscription. Reach out to support@skippering.io to start this process.
